The public can now pay income tax dues, FS5s, PTs and social security contributions at any Post Office branch
As from 10th July 2017, taxpayers will be able to settle their income tax dues, FS5s, PTs and Class 2 social security contributions at any of MaltaPost’s 40 Post Offices around Malta and Gozo.
Accepted payments will include Income Tax, Final Settlement System Tax and Social Security Contribution together with the appropriately filled in forms / payment slips.
Both cash and cheque payments shall be accepted, provided that all cheques are made payable to MaltaPost p.l.c. and cash payments do not exceed €5,000. A receipt showing the details of each payment submitted shall be given to taxpayers and the bill / or copy will be stamped by the MaltaPost Sales Representatives. In turn, taxpayers will receive an official tax receipt by post from the Inland Revenue Department.
MaltaPost cannot complete any tax forms / payment slips on behalf of clients and if customers require any assistance they are to visit the Inland Revenue Department in Floriana / Victoria Gozo.
